Please note that dates are secured once a 50% non-refundable is deposited and Live Illustration Agreement is signed.

The remaining 50% payment will be due four weeks before your event.

I can paint about 10 guests per hour (about 5 portraits), depending on the detail in their attire.

Each illustration takes approximately 7-12 minutes.

I always do my best to paint as many guests as possible!

The number of guests illustrated depends on the package you choose. I offer two options:

1) Live Illustrating Only (Not everyone will receive a portrait)

I paint as many guests as possible within the event duration. This option is ideal if you’d like live illustrating as an interactive experience and are okay with not every guest receiving a portrait.

2) Live Illustrating + After-Event Service (Additional fee)

In addition to live illustrations, I complete any remaining portraits after the event and deliver them directly to your doorstep (to the Client’s address). This ensures all photographed guests receive their illustration.

One of my favorite things a client has shared is how, after their wedding, they loved visiting friends’ and family’s homes and seeing their wedding illustrations on display. It’s such a sweet way to keep a piece of their day alive.

And the joy on people’s faces when they receive their portrait—often the first drawing of themselves they’ve ever had—is priceless. You never forget how someone makes you feel, and moments like these really stick with you. It’s a simple, meaningful way to show someone you care.

A favor that's rarely ever left behind.

To paint as many parties as possible and to provide as many people the chance to get their illustration, I stick to painting 1-2 people per illustration, however, I try to include children if applicable.

One illustration per party/group.

We kindly request a 6-8 ft table and two chairs, decorated to your preference with linens and covers.

The table should be placed in a dry, well-lit area (without being too bright) or within one foot of an outlet for lamps, in suitable conditions (not too hot).

I am based in Orange County, California.

Events in Orange County and Los Angeles do not have a travel fee.

If your event is outside OC or LA, and my schedule is open, I'd love to discuss with you further! Additional travel fees apply. Please note that both the deposit and the travel fees in this case are nonrefundable and needed to secure your booking date.

Typically,

- Venues over 80 miles (or 2 hours) from me: A travel fee for mileage applies

- Venues over 150 miles (or 3 hours) from me: A travel fee for mileage + hotel reimbursement is required

- Venues over 5 hours away: A travel fee covering flight, hotel, and car rental applies.

Arrival & Setup: My assistant and I arrive 20-60 minutes before the event start time to set up and, with permission beforehand, capture behind-the-scenes content.

Guest Experience: I place signs on my table outlining How It Works and noting that live illustrations are a gift from the host(s).

Photography & Illustration Start: Depending on your event, we typically begin by taking photos of guests as they arrive. Once we’ve photographed a few guests, I’ll start illustrating at my table.

Queue & Illustration Process: Guests are responsible for approaching the table and joining the queue for their portrait. (It helps to announce to guests throughout the event that a live illustrator is present so guests are aware!)

We collect basic info (name, email, or phone number) strictly for identification purposes—to ensure guests receive their illustrations. We do not send spam. Guests can also indicate if they’re comfortable with their photos being shared on social media. If they agree, my assistant may film some content during the event.

Queue Management: Based on the package the host selects, we manage the queue accordingly. If applicable, guests may receive their illustrations at a later time from the host.

Breaks: I rarely take breaks as I’m usually in the zone, but if needed, I take short breaks to snack and recharge.

Wrap-Up: At the end of our service time, we pack up and notify the host or planner before leaving.

Yes, typically my minimum booking time is 4 hours. This is to make sure I can provide the best experience possible.

There is limited availability and certain wedding dates fill up quickly.

You can book up to 1 year in advance.

I do commissions!

We use 4x6 inch premium watercolor paint on beautifully textured watercolor paper (300 gsm) ensuring endurance and longevity.

Since it is watercolor, it dries rather quickly - no worries about paint smudging.

Frames (if applicable) are put together by my assistant onsite.
